ChinaPress is one of the most influential news media in Malaysia published in mandarin. After years of its first app development, the company is ready to make a change for the app's interface design to be more modern.
About the project
With technology advancing and UI trends changing, so does ChinaPress app. The company aims to improve user friendliness in its app by still maintaining the content's structure. I worked closely with a team of developers in building the new app.
Objectives
The goal of ChinaPress' app revamp is to achieve a fresh and modern look for its users. In the design process, I still maintained the overall app sitemap. The app is also updated with some animation on certain icons and buttons with microinteractions so we don’t overwhelm the user.
